Please pay your £10 at a Monday club meeting  either personally or via someone who attends regularly. The closing date is 7th December LATEST ( we have to give the Fairways a week's notice of our food requirements). Please indicate your menu choices when you book. A special booking form is available at club meetings.

SARC PW LOW POWER CONTEST RESULTS

Sheffield Amateur Radio Club members Dave and Dave (M0EQD and M5DWI) entered the Practical Wireless 144MHz Low Power Contest this summer and used our club contest call G2AS/P. 


Using QRP to their stacked yagis, they achieved the very good position of 18th out of 92 competitors. Their location was Wharncliffe Chase (IO93FL)  from where the club mounted a highly successful VHF NFD effort earlier in the summer.

EXCELLENT CLUB SUPPORT FOR SSB FIELD DAY!

Thanks a million once again folks! 


This weekend's SSB Field Day saw no less than NINETEEN club members turn up on Saturday to help set up the station. Most stayed on to operate in either the SSB Contest (nine operators!) or the 144MHz Trophy Contest being held at the same time (or even take part in both).
